Third for secret agent and second for Cosmo’s Cosmic Adventure.

The only other game I remember playing as much was interplay’s Castles (an extremely fun castle building sim complete with RPGish story, wars between Celts or ogres, and decent music).

Back in the 90′s I dearly loved The Elder Scrolls: Arena. It’s a DOS FPS. Now that they’ve progressed the series to Skyrim I went looking for Arena and found that they’ve now released it for free! Not only that, they offer tips on making it work in DOSBox. I recently played through the whole game, and it’s just as much fun now as it was then.

I can recommend Secret Agent, it uses the same engine as Crystal Caves.

I’ve installed my Arch for a year, broadcom chipset became full functionnal with kernel 3.3 (with B43-firmware), before, i have to use compat-wireless (from AUR too). For the touchpas, i use xf86-input-mtrack-git (AUR again)

Thanks for the Steins;Gate recommendation. However, you failed to mention that this anime is based around the John Titor story but using slightly different plot points and names (probably to avoid any legal issues). I agree with you, it’s a very good anime.

You’re right about issues getting better over time — having installed Arch on an MBP 8,2 almost a year ago, I envy your smooth experience. b43 did not support the wireless chipset at the time and synaptics’ handling of the single-surface trackpad was a cruel joke.
